Getting into a Routine!

This week has been great!! Tuesday we were going to just stay in, instead of going to Buzzys for the play date in the morning. Well Daddy forgot his briefcase so off to the mall we went anyway!! Went to Buzzys later than usual and there were too many big kids in there to stay very long. Abigail and I left and we discovered a WONDERFUL consignment shop for children's clothing that is very close to our house. I got her an adorable pair on kids jeans from Gymboree for $7! Can't beat that! Daddy had to work a double on Tuesday because somebody called out of work so we spent the day just mommy and daughter. After Abigail went to sleep I grilled 9 chicken breasts on the George Foreman. We are going on a hard core diet around here. Wednesday morning we had a great time at The Little Gym. Abigail played very nicely but we were sad to find out that this was Miss Britneys last week!! We ran to the store and pretty much played a lot of the day. I wasn't feeling well and wanted to take it easy. Today we went to Buzzys and met up with Cary and Julie Jennifer and their little ones!. We had a great time!! The kids played well and it was good. Abigail seems pretty tired today and I think it's probably because she got her flu shot yesterday. Today we are going to Richmond again to celebrate FIL's birthday. We are suppose to be going there for Halloween too so we'll see how it goes. We may just stay there!! I need hubby to come home so we can figure out what is going on!! Anyway. I probably won't be back on here until Sunday if we do stay. I should probably go and start packing for Abigail and me. Happy Halloween!!

Fun Times!

So Friday we all went to Richmond to see my husbands friends Tony and Crystal. Abigail stayed with my In Laws for the whole weekend. When we got to Richmond I went out dress shopping with my MIL and Abigail while my DH went out with me FIL. My MIL helped me find a stunning dress at Dillards, and apparently I am a size smaller than I thought! Yay!! We went out Friday night to Baileys and had a great time. I had to get up early Saturday morning and drive to Wilmington. One of my darling sisters got married. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Lauren looked stunning and Alex was so handsome!! There were only four sisters at the wedding and four brothers. We had a great time! After the wedding we went out downtown and caught up with friends. I stayed with my best friend Sarah and her friend Vanessa. I hadn't seen Sarah since she started school at VT in August for grad school. Drove to Raleigh Sunday and got to see my mommy and her awesome new TV. I was exhausted by the time I got to Richmond to pick up Abigail. Met Andy and home and went to bed early!
Today was a great day! We got up early and Abigail and I stopped by Ukrops on our way to decorate cookies with some of the FredericksburgMommies! We had a wonderful time!! Then we went and grabbed lunch with daddy. I thought my DD was tired and going to take a nap but never did! So off we went to Wegmans where she decided to have a meltdown because she hadn't had a nap!! Then homeward bound!! Andy and I are starting a hardcore diet. Today all junk food got thrown out of our house. We'll see how it goes! I'm still hoping to get that Golds Gym membership.

I'm starting now. Will try to remember to update the ticker weekly!! I have a long ways to go. It needs to be done though!! It's hard for me to believe that I started out smaller than average. I use to be a size 0 and now I'm a 14. I don't want to be as small as I was, but I do want to be healthy and attractive again!! I have a ton of cute size 6 clothes that would make me really happy to fit in to!!! All I am asking for for my birthday/Christmas is a full membership to Golds Gym. I hear they have a nice childcare facility. Andy went and checked it out for me. I just got the new Pampered Chef cookbook called 'It's Good For You.' Andy and I are going to try to eat our way through it starting in about a week. (Haven't mentioned it to him yet!) It's going to be great!! We both really need to get in shape!! I want to set a healthy standard for Abigail!

Birthday Party and FM!

So a lot of new things!! Abigail's birthday party was a great success!! On her birthday we let her open some presents in the morning, then Abigail and I went to Costco to buy some food for the party on Saturday. At 1pm we went to Penneys at Spotsy Towne Centre, and it was a horrible experience!! The pictures turned out great but they were awful there!! Only one person working, backed up, didn't seem to care to take the time to listen to what I wanted. I already have an appt with them for our Christmas card picture but if it's not a better experience we won't be going back!! The customer service people emailed me after I filled out a survey and they are sending me coupons for free portraits but it honestly is like too little too late. Then after the appointment I dropped Abigail at home with daddy and I went to Bloom for the rest of the shopping. Got home and started the cupycakes for the party! Mom got here around 7pm Friday night. I missed her and was glad to have her here! Saturday morning we got up bright and early to go to The Little Gym! My mom had a great time watching and playing with Abigail in gym class. Then we went to Wal-Mart and Wegmans for the last of the shopping! We got home and started making icing (well Andy made icing) cutting celery, setting up the table and getting ready!! Abigail had a good time during her party I think!! Everybody was an hour or more late because of an accident on Rt. 3 but it worked out okay!! Abby was awake and sweet for everybody and then took an hour long nap. We had a great time grilling out and just hanging out with our friends and family!! Mary Elizabeth came up and brought her puggle Gracie!! Gracie is an adorable dog and we all had a lot of fun with her!! All in all it was a great day!!

Also, I have recently joined the Fredericksburg Mommies! It is so much fun! Tuesday morning Abby and I met some mommies at Buzzys and had a lot of fun!! We went again today and afterward went to the FM Pumpkin Party!! Abigail helped me paint her pumpkin and we at all sorts of pumpkin goodies!! Pumpkin pie, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin seeds, pumpkin pasta!! It was great!!! Met a lot of nice mommies and babies and got to see some of the ones I already have met!! I think I may try to become a Co-Mod for the Spotsy mommies!! Should prove fun!!

Yesterday we had Abigails 12m appt! Daddy came with us since she needed to get shots :-( She is a happy healthy little girl!! 20 lbs 6 oz 30 in. and hitting her milestones!! We are proud of our little girl!

Lots of great things going on right now!! Tomorrow Andy and I are going to Richmond. Rose and Ronnie will keep Abigail all weekend! Friday night we are hanging out with Tony and Crystal and then Saturday I am heading to Wilmington to see a bunch of my sisters and watch my darling Lauren get married!! I get to see some of my friends that I haven't seen in years! It's going to be a great weekend!! I can't wait! I'll have to post pictures next weekend!

And it continues...

So my anxiety is through the roof. I hate it. I went to the doctor on Tuesday and told him all about it, plus the stupid rash around my wedding ring, plus the fact that I'm 40lbs. heavier than I was when I had Abigail. So his advice, meditate every day, start the South Beach diet, join a gym, buy a jogging stroller, and figure out what makes me happy and do it. Oh and sleep more. GEE THANKS, I'll get right on that. Are YOU paying for my jogging stroller and gym membership mister Dr? Are you going to come watching my child while I meditate for an hour every day? HMMM!!!! Ugh. Seriously, not what I was wanting to hear. He also drew blood (I didn't faint! Big accomplishment on my part) to test my thyroid, liver and kidneys. He was supposed to call yesterday with results but didn't. So we'll see.
I have decided as part of his instruction to do things that make me happy that I'm going to bake and decorate all the cupy-cakes for Abigail's birthday party! I'm excited about it! I'm going to make them from scratch. I still have a lot of organizing to do around here. Andy is off today and tomorrow so hopefully between the two of us we can get a lot done around here. Rose has offered to come and help me out on either Sunday or Monday. We'll see. So I think I've got most of Abigail's birthday pretty much taken care of. I wanted to get her the radio flyer wagon for her birthday but it's not going to happen. I think Santa will bring it this year instead. (Unless my mom or Rose picked it up...which is a possibility.)
I really am going to start blogging regularly I think. It does help to get things out, and where better than the internet!! Ha!

Lots of Changes

So life has changed a lot since I last logged in here. We moved to Fredericksburg VA. So far so good. Life here is totally different than I thought, but I'm actually starting to adjust and really like it. Abigail and I have joined The Little Gym here. It's wonderful!! We get to go every Wednesday. We love our neighbors! They are really great!! Andy is loving his new job, and honestly so am I! He mainly works day shifts. That helps me a lot! I cook at home more and we aren't spending as much money eating out plus we are both losing weight! I had to go pick up my MOH dress for my BFF's wedding in November and it looked better on me now than it did 3 weeks ago! I'm hoping to post more, I really like the whole blog thing!!

So I've been crazy busy. I'm exahusted and don't really want to go into all the details right now because it's midnight and like I said I'm exahusted. Andy and I had a wonderful first anniversary in Busch Gardens last weekend!! It was a really wonderful trip!! I was glad to get to see Katie and Travis, Rose and Ronnie, Tony and Crystal, and Bo and Sarah!! We really had a great trip!! I'll post more and pictures soon!! Abigail is getting to be so big!! She can "feed herself" sit up on her own and is talking up a storm!! I can't believe my baby is almost 8 months old!!

Cinco de Mayo!

Well Happy Cinco de Mayo. Mine sucked. The beginning wasn't too bad. Last night I went to bed early feeling really sick to my stomach. Luckily I woke up feeling MUCH better! Abigail and I ran some errands and took lunch to mommy, then the afternoon got away from me. I thought I was going to be late for my 5v shift so I called work to let them know. They told me I was scheduled 6cl. I'm NEVER 6cl. I have a set schedule Tues/Thurs 5v. Ugh. So Brooke was going to close and I was going to work like I was a 5v according to RD. (owner) So I go in and then Brooke arrives at work at 6 saying to the hosts that she's drunk. Haha yea yea, well then turns out really she's drunk. She gets her first table and drops not one but 2 trays of drinks one after the other. So after her one and only table RD sends her home. We were already short staffed because one of our bartenders had to leave with a migraine. Needless to say I had the whole freaking bar area and got my ass handed to me all night long. I don't even think she's fired. UGH. Then Andy is out with Allen tonight and I'm really excited but I couldn't freaking get a hold of him and that annoyed me to death for awhile when I got off work. We had really bad storms and tornadoes in Raleigh tonight so I was understandably nervous when I got no reply. I just talked to him and he's fine he had accidently left his phone in the car. AND when I got home he had bought me a single rose and had it waiting for me. Seriously, I love my husband!! <3

May is one BUSY month!

You could say I'm slightly overwhelmed at all that's going on this month!! To start, yesterday my cousin Allston was in town so his sister Sarah Hart came in from Chapel Hill and we went to see our other cousin Vann play lacrosse. Then we went to dinner and came over here to hang out for a bit. It was fun. Abigail had a sleepover at grandma's house so I could play with everybody. Today mom, Abigail and I went to the farmers market for most of the day. It was fun. Tomorrow I go to Dena's for a cluster meeting for my Pampered Chef business. It's going to be way fun!! Wednesday is my first 'on my own' Pampered Chef cooking show at Ashleys! It's going to be so much fun!!! I work every Tuesday and Thursday this month at Cameron waiting tables. Next weekend is my first mothers day!! I don't know yet what we are doing. I hope Andy has an idea. The next weekend Emory and Travis are coming to town!!! Then on the 19th Abigail has an appointment at the pedi. The next weekend is memorial weekend and I'll be in Charleston from Friday-Monday for Emory's bridal shower! THEN the last weekend in May is my one year anniversary with my dear husband. I am so excited! We're still working out our plans, but it's going to be hot. Yay for May. It's going to be crazy busy!!

So far so good.

So far this week has been pretty good!! Tuesday we went house hunting again. Saw some really great neighborhoods, not so much great houses. Why do so many people own cats? Seriously half the houses we've been to smell like a wet cat. Ew. I'm such a dog person. I worked last night and afterward went out with Steph and Karin. We had fun! It was good to catch up with them. Today's been a little lazy. I'm hoping Allston will be coming to spend the night with us tomorrow night and maybe Friday night too. I need to road trip to GSO soon too. I miss my family. I'm really getting serious with my Pampered Chef stuff. I'm really excited about it!! Hope all is well.

Busy Sunday Funday.

So today was pretty busy!! I got up, fed Abby, got her dressed and ready to go. Then I had to get me dressed and ready to go! Then we went to Costco to fill the car up and to get formula, cokes and dryer sheets. After Costco we went to mom's house so I could feed/change Abby. Which wound up being mom feeding and changing Abby. Then Abby and I went to Target to get baby food and a really cute baby book I've had my eye on since she was born. After that we stopped by Crabtree to go to Crate and Barrel to get some ramekins that Andy wanted me to pick up. We also stopped by Godiva. Yummy. Then we went to Harris Teeter to pick up a TON of groceries! When we got home I did a load of dishes in the dishwasher and a load of Abby's clothes! Andy made chicken lettuce wraps with a spicy peanut sauce for dinner. They were yummy!! I also go groceries to make BBQ Chicken Sandwiches in my deep covered baker tomorrow. I'm going to make Andy's favorite Toasted Angel Hair with Sausage and Peppers this week!! We are LOVING my Pampered Chef business! The food is great and SO easy to make!! I can't wait to use this baker!! Tonight we took turns taking care of Abby! I gave her her first bubble bath tonight with the new Johnson and Johnson bubble bath. It was really cute! She was really excited!! Andy put her to bed so I could work on my Pampered Chef stuff! I have to get Ashley's invites out tomorrow! Her party is sneaking up on me!! Hope everybody else was as productive as I was today!! It feels good!!

Girls Day

So today mom and Abby and I went to the Southern Womens show. We had fun, didn't buy as much as usual. I got a bath bomb from Lush and a way cute keychain with my monogram on it. I also introduced mom to a deep fried snickers. Then we went to her house and unloaded Pampered Chef boxes. Abby and I met with Andy and we went to Kanki for dinner, following which I got terribly sick. Still am, and now going to bed hoping to God that I'm over this in the morning!!! Wish me luck!!

Liking the whole Blog thing!

This is getting really addicting!! So today was a good day. I took Abby to Target and Babies R Us today so we could go shopping for Lara!! She is due on Saturday and looks so good! I'm going to miss her! (She runs our apartment complex.) Got her some really great stuff!! I was going to get her this cute rattle too, but Abby decided that it was hers!! It was all in her mouth before I could stop her! Talked to a realtor today, she seems really nice. Her name is Joann and tomorrow we are going to look at three houses!! I am so excited!! I feel like this is really about to happen!! We're also signing our lease tomorrow but we only did a 3 month lease. I really am just on cloud 9. Also tomorrow is going to be a great day because I'm FINALLY getting a haircut. I'm also getting it highlighted! Kaitlyn is going to do it since Sara moved back to Chi town. (Sara did my hair for our wedding, Kaitlyn did my makeup.) It's really way too late for me to be up. It's bedtime!!

Second Post!

Okay, so this week is filling up fast and looking really exciting!! I picked up for Kyle at work tonight, then I work tomorrow night. Friday at eleven I have my call with Dena for my Pampered Chef Dream Team stuff. Then at noon we meet with the realtor to check out a house. Then at three thirty I am getting my hair cut and highlighted!!! I'm so excited! Today Abby and I took lunch to mom at school, then went to target. Picked up mothers day cards for mom and Rose. Also got some new spoons for Abby. Life is good!!

First Blog Post!

Hey! So I figured it was time to start a blog. That way I can keep track and keep people posted on Abby and Andy and myself. I'm not really sure what to put for my first post but I guess I'll recap what's been going on lately. Abby just had her first Easter! Andy, Abby, mom and I went on Saturday to the church Eggstravaganza, it was really fun but VERY windy. Abby even 'found' three eggs!! She had her picture taken with the Easter bunny and we had some great BBQ! Sunday Andy, mom, Abby and I went to church. Abby and I had a little tulip that she put in the flower cross, we think she was the youngest kid to do it this year! Last week Rose decided to come down on Thursday afternoon to hang out and help out with Abby for the weekend. She left yesterday after lunch. Today Andy and Abby and I went to Goldsboro to meet with a financial planner. We are looking into buying a house in the near future so we are trying to just do as much as we can to make our $$ stretch!! We're excited that Friday we're going to see our first house! We'll see how it goes!! Well I'm tired, so I guess that's all for the first post!
